For valves and fittings for oxygen service, cleaned and degreased
Valves and fittings for oxygen service, cleaned and degreased, are only to be delivered in brass and stainless steel (steel is not suitable for oxygen).
The below mentioned additional designations for cleaned and degreased parts (F1 to F5) are defining the pressure rating and the adequate packing (except F0, please see below).
| F0: | For valves and fittings without packing (e.g. gauge snubbers, gauge protectors,
multi-way cocks, components etc.). Operating datas on demand. For cocks with plug seal (e.g. multi-way cocks) is valid: max. 63 bar, max. 60°C |
| F1: | Standard Execution PN 100 PTFE packing with BAM tested packing support Pressure and temperature rating: max. 100 bar, max. 60°C |
| F4: | PN 250 PTFE-tapered ring packing Pressure and temperature rating: max. 160 bar, max. 60°C |
| F5: | Max. PN 420 bar PTFE packing, BAM tested Pressure and temperature rating: max. 420 bar at 60°C and max. 200 °C at 90 bar |

Important instruction:
For orders of valves and fittings for oxygen service without supplement F1, F4 or F5 or without information about
pressure rating, the standard execution PN 100 (F1) will be delivered.
