Operations Manager in USA (Houston/Texas)

 


Your responsibilities:

  • Ensure product availability and timely supply of products to customers
  • Send invoices and tracking information to customers, including shipments from ASDE
  • Resolve billing discrepancies
  • Upload invoices to customer portals
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires e.g. filling out paperwork, setup passwords, and orientation
  • Submit PTP on behalf of Head of Operations & Administration
  • Establish minimum/maximum inventory levels for items from ASDE and ASRO (currently working on ASRO lead times; ASDE requires additional time)
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions
  • Communicate lead times to Sales Representatives and TSC
  • Manage office supplies and equipment
  • Inform the Head of Operations and Administration about unexpected employee absences
  • Accurately enter customer orders into ERP or order management systems
  • Coordinate with sales, production, and shipping teams to ensure order fulfillment
  • Maintain organized records of orders and customer communications
  • Verify and input customer billing/shipping details, tax information, payment terms, and contact data
  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on sales orders and inventory
  • Coordinate with production supervisors to ensure schedule feasibility
  • Monitor work-in-progress and adjust schedules as needed
  • Collaborate with purchasing and inventory teams to ensure material availability
  • Communicate schedule updates to relevant departments
  • Maintain accurate records of production schedules and capacity planning
  • Support ERP updates and ensure accurate order tracking
  • Document Control (sending/requesting certs for customer orders)


Our requirements:

  • High School Degree or higher and practical experience/applied knowledge
  • Position requires the ability to work and follow standards and procedures
  • Multitasking
  • Experience in Hiring is beneficial
  • Manufacturing Experience is a must
  • Knowledge on OSHA requirements
  • Warehousing and Assembly is beneficial
  • Knowledge on ERP systems and to adapt to CRM systems is a must
  • Leadership skills are beneficial
